Fabric material: Cotton
- Machine Wash: Be kind to your cotton, a gentle cycle will help to stay soft and last longer. Use cool water (30°C /86°F) and a washing net.
- Mild detergent: Harsh detergent can fade colours. Opt for gentle detergent specifically designed for delicates.
- Tumble dry: skip the high heat. Line / Hang dry is preferred for delicates.
- Separate wash dark colour clothes and white/lighter colours in a separate load
- Turn the garment inside out for washing and drying to minimize fading.
By following these simple care instructions, you can keep your kimono pieces clean without destroying them in the process.
Ironing:
- Cotton: Press while damp, use a high temperature setting. Use cloth between iron and fabric if it has glitter print.
- Lace: Make sure to use a cloth between the fabric and the iron.
- Linen: spray water will sharpen up any collars and cuffs.
- Polyester: Set the temperature to low heat, make sure the fabric is slightly damp and iron from the top down.
Avoid:
- Soak, scrub, submerge, rubbing or wringing will damage the fabric.
- Harsh detergents, bleach, or fabric softeners.
- Hot water may cause the fabric to shrink or expand or colour fading.
